Emma Geer | Architectural Intern

Background.

Currently, I’m a 4th year architecture student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My journey into architecture started when I took drafting classes in high school. I’ve been passionate about creating houses that are not only aesthetically appealing but are also inspiring to others. I hope to continue growing as an architectural designer and someday become an architect.

What I love about what I do.

For me, architecture is about combining art and structure to create dream spaces that will create beautiful environments for families to grow in. I’m particularly interested in sustainable architecture and I’m always excited to learn more about how technology is evolving to save the planet and shape the future of design.

At TAMA, I assist with everything from drafting plans and creating 3D models to collaborating on design solutions for residential projects.

Outside of work.

When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me working on art projects, traveling, or playing with my gecko Odette.
